Laura joined EPNA in March of 2020. A seasoned and trusted merchant consultant, Laura creates solutions for EPNA clients by analyzing market challenges and identifying customizable solutions. Her expertise includes e-commerce platform integrations, point-of sale systems, QR codes, contactless transactions, commercial card optimization, surcharging, cash discounting, and statement analysis.
Laura has had an extensive career in business development, operations, and marketing, having worked with blue chip clients for more than 10 years. She regularly leads educational discussions on credit card processing in both English and Spanish. At EPNA, she uses her bilingual skills to help Spanish dominant clients navigate the merchant services space.
A passionate leader and mentor, Laura believes genuine relationship-building has been the key to her success. Clients consistently recognize her professionalism, depth of knowledge, and easy-going manner. Laura is a proud member of NAWBO Chicago.
Laura earned a bachelor of arts degree from California State University, Fullerton, majoring in communications and emphasis in advertising and a minor in Spanish. She is an Illinois State Board of Education certified educator and holds a B2 Advanced Certificate in Spanish from the Servicio International de Evaluación de la Lengua Española (SIELE) as well.
In her free time Laura loves to sing, having sung in choirs in the U.S. and Europe and is also a square dance instructor.
