Maru is a seasoned bilingual professional with over 4 years of experience in the payment industry. She has collaborated as a speaker and community partner with the Albany Park Chamber of Commerce. As a small business owner herself, Maru understands the importance of counting on reliable payment technology, quick funding, and the ability to sell online.

Maru’s background is in agribusiness. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Mexico and later obtained a graduate Project Management certificate from Colorado State University.  

In her free time, Maru enjoys gardening and being outdoors. She also runs a microflower farm in Chicago’s north side, specializing in growing tulips in the winter.
